Visioneering selects Mitrefinch to provide Time and Attendance and HR System
Visioneering has chosen Mitrefinch Time and Attendance (TMS) as their new Time and Attendance and HR Management system. Mitrefinch will install its latest version of TMS (Version 6) which includes a fully interactive web module written entirely in Microsoft Silverlight.
"The Silverlight Module allows us to completely separate the core logic from the interface making it easier and faster to introduce new features and patch bugs as they are detected", says James Neary, Mitrefinch's Senior Developer responsible for the Version 6 conversion process.
"Using the Version 6 Silverlight engine we are able to reproduce an employee appraisal system that mimics systems available from other HRMS vendors but does so at a fraction of the cost", continued Howard Rabb, Mitrefinch's Canadian Operations Manager.
Visioneering will use Mitrefinch TMS to track over 350 employees, both hourly and salaried, and well as scheduling, monitoring, storing and printing a complicated set of employee appraisal forms.
Visioneering is Canada's largest independent lighting manufacturer with their head office and a 210,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Toronto, Ontario.
