“I just loved it, I’ve never worked with a system that is so easy to use!” Fiona Peteira HR and Payroll Manager
Founded in 1982 and based in Mississauga Ontario, Ultrafit Manufacturing Inc. operates as a contract manufacturer of custom bent tubular products. The company offers stainless steel, aluminized, and cold rolled tubing products. It serves the original equipment manufacturer, medical, and furniture industries, as well as the automotives aftermarket.
In 2008, the company was struggling with an antiquated time and attendance system which crashed a lot. The company struggled with ‘buddy punching,’ whereby employees were clocking in and out for one another.
Faced with these problems, Ultra-fit Manufacturing Inc. turned to the Mitrefinch Time Management System (TMS). Thanks to the Mitrefinch biometric reader, the problem with buddy punching has now been eliminated. The system integrates with the company payroll, meaning there is far less likelihood of mistakes. In addition, the management at Ultra-fit use the system to collect figures at month end.
