Giesecke & Devrient Systems Canada Inc. use Mitrefinch TMS and Employee Self-Service to manage time and attendance for over 400 employees at their Markham location – “A system is only as good as its user – and the Mitrefinch solution is a fabulous system.”
“We looked at several vendors but the Mitrefinch solution presented was excellent,” said G&D Payroll and Benefits Specialist Maria Pace.
“Our account manager was excellent – we liked his honesty and the way he approached our needs.”
G&D currently manage 500 employees with five Mitrefinch Biometric clocks, with around 100 users benefitting from the web based employee self service.
The Mitrefinch system was brought in to replace their current solutions provider ADP’s E-time which had been discontinued.
“E-time was cumbersome, too much upkeep was required to maintain the system,” said Maria Pace. “We needed something where we didn’t spend so much time correcting errors.”
Since the systems implementation G&D has been able to save time and money with a system that requires less upkeep than their previous one.
“One lead hand says it is the best system he has ever worked with,” said Pace.
The Mitrefinch Employee Self Serve Module for vacation tracking and planning is well liked by staff.
“We are looking forward to learning the new V.6 (version six),” said Pace.
“The system was reasonably priced, works well and is simple to use.”
